Step 1, Insert new batteries into the battery compartment of your wireless mouse.
Step 2, Position the wireless receiver least eight inches away from your laptop, and between eight inches and six feet away from the mouse.
Step 3, Insert the driver CD for your wireless mouse into your CD drive.
Step 4, Follow the on-screen instructions to install the mouse driver.
