Google published the Android 3.1 system. The new system will be installed on the mobile phone, tablet and Google TV. MOTO XOOM gains the first upgrade. The biggest highlight of Android 3.1 is its Open Accessory plan. The next version Ice Cream Sandwich will be published by the end of this year.
On the I/O Developer Conference 2011, Google published the upgraded version Android 3.1 of Honeycomb. The Verizon MOTO Xoom users can use the Android 3.1 now. At the same time, it publishes the Android Open Accessory plan. The program allows the manufacturer to develop the external device which is suitable for Android game as to the API port. And the game developers can design the suitable products as to the API port. The plan will support Android2.2+ and Android 3.1.

Android 3.1 integrates the 3.0 and 2.x versions effectively. It improves the task management of the application program. It supports the USB input devices including keyboard and mouse. Android 3.1 also supports the latest Adobe Flash 10.2.
Google also gives response to the system upgrading problem. It declares to cooperate with operators including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint and the mobile manufacturers like HTC, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG and Motorola. It ensures the users to gain the timely system upgrading.
It also presents the preview of the next version Ice Cream Sandwich. It will be the most ambitious android system version at present. It’s said the Ice Crem Sandwich will be published by the end of thisy year.
In addition, google also published the latest data about android on the conference. In 2011, the activation amount of Android devices is more than 100 million times. About 400 thousand devices will be activated everyday. On the Android market, there are more 200 thousand applications.
