The Israel start-up company Tawkon has developed a kind of software for measuring the mobile radiation. It aims to help the users to suffer less from the radiation without giving up the mobile phone.
The Tawkon application program can be applicable to RIM blackberry mobile phone now. Later in the year, it can be provided to the users of Google Android phone and Nokia Symbian phone.
The founder and CEO of Tawkon Gil Friedlander told the Reuter, “We provide the first solution which can be downloaded to the mobile phone.” At present, the radiation volume is measured by peripheral equipment.
Gil Friedlander said that the mobile manufacturers must reveal the maximum level of radiation in many countries. And the simialr laws have appeared in America.
The application program can monitor the mobile phone users. If the radiation level has reached the threshold quantity of the red alert zone, it will sound the alarm. Meanwhile some radiation reducing suggestions will be provided.
He said, “You can do something easy. For example, you can place the phone horizontally or vertically.”
As the antena is at the bottom of most phones, it’s easy to be covered by the user’s hands. And it will lead the phone to release more radiation. The radiation will be reduced if you use the earphone or turn on the speaker. Furthermore, the Tawkon is linked to the GPS. And the users will be told that how to move to the “green zone” and the radiation will be reduced effectively.
