According to the report, Notebookitalia which exposed the design sketch of Toshiba SmartPad currently delivers the specific configurations again today.
Toshiba will make the systems integration and optimization for the item. For example, the start-up can be completed within 30 seconds. It will bring much convenience to the users. SmartPad will be internally installed with many types of software including office applications, PDF, RSS and e-reader. The users can aslo gain the new softwares on the Android electronics market or in the Toshiba application store.
It’s estimated that Toshiba will officially release the SmartPad on IFA 2010 which will be held in Berlin, Germany on September 3, 2010. Then it will begin the selling of the Tegra 2 Android tablet.
The SmartPad will be equipped with Android 2.2 and Nvidia Tegra 2. It has a 10.1 inch wide WSVGA screen which supports multitouch. There is a built-in microphone and two 0.5W stereo speakers. It weighs 760g and the size is 281*181*14mm. It has a 1,300,000 pixels camera.
