On the battlefield, the soldiers should always hold the gun and equipment well. Before long, the soldiers will carry equipment based on Android system. If somebody forgets to carry it, he probably should go back to the military base.
The American Raytheon Company will continue bearing the responsibility of developing the Android combat system. According to a Reuter report, American Raytheon Company will publish an Android defense system. The system is able to scan the topography, collect air reconnaissance and even recognize the facial features of the criminals.
Though the news sounds sort of science fiction, the Raytheon Company has openly declared that it’s developing the software according to the requirement of United States Department of Defense.
The launched RATS has been operated successfully on HTC Dream smartphone. The vice president who is in charge of the national and civil defense, Mark Bigham declared to the reporters, the software has been operated on Android smartphone produced by Motorola and HTC and they are confident to release the vast potential of these phones.
Compared with the Android tactical (can only be used for tracking and searching the air footage) system published last October, the latest Raytheon plays a greater role in the army. Currently, the U.S. Army and special force has reserved the system. The Indian military is likely to introduce the system.
The launched Android tactical system RATS has been operated on HTC Dream, but stronger performance of mobile phone should be required to support the new Android ground war system.
