Not into a hobby of swiping sandy beach with metal detector in your hands? Maybe this cool gadget will change that. You could simple take you regular sunset walk with your partner down the beach and ,at the same time, look for buried treasure. Romantic walk and chance to find gold ring for your sweetheart? I am ready to wear a goofy pair of metal detecting sandals!
The sandals operate using an embedded metal detector. To keep it going, it requires a 9V battery(will allow you up to six hours of treasure hunt) located in black box which is then attached to your leg. Sandal?s copper coil, embedded in right sandal and connected to black box, alerts you when you come within 2? of a metal object. It flashes a light and then you can either set it to gently vibrate or give a much louder buzzing noise.
There are men?s and women?s sizes. You can get them for $59.95 from Hammacher and Schlemmer.
Enjoy your treasure hunt, I mean romantic walk down the beach. One thing though, hopefully nobody will stare at black box attached to your leg thinking it is home detention bracelet.
